Our Practices

Sustainability

We strive to sustain the economic viability of our vineyards through various vineyard management practices.  We implement sustainable soil and water management techniques such as the planting of cover crops and use of reduced-volume irrigation systems.  By doing so we are able to protect soil from water runoff along with increasing organic matter.  R-N-R Vineyards is also a certified member of Lodi Rules, California’s original sustainable viticulture program. We take pride on promoting a sound environment in and around our vineyards which enables us to stay true to our long-term goals for a sustainable future.

Compliance

Compliance with the state and federal employee standards is at the forefront of our operation. At the core of our business is our employees, and we are committed to proactive safety and workplace training. We are proud to work closely with Cal-Ag Safety, a third-party training service, to maintain compliance in workplace safety training standards and record keeping.

A few of the training curriculums currently implemented include:

  • CPR Training and First Aid training
  • Heat Illness awareness training
  • Workplace Sexual Harassment training
  • Pesticide Use training and Safety
  • Tractor Operator training
  • As well as a company-wide “Be Safe” program which encourages safe working conditions and enhances safety awareness.
